Embedded SBAS APV-I and Category I samples are exact for GP 3.0 deg, GARP/LTP or LOC-THR 3000 m, RDH 15 m and cited missed-climb values. Other selections are not assessed unless a cited RDH or standard-aircraft-dimension correction is implemented.

PANS-OPS determines OCA/H from obstacle-clearance criteria. The selected value represents that design result; this Explorer does not calculate an authoritative OCA/H from its demonstration obstacles. Operational DA/H must not normally be lower than OCA/H but may be higher because of operational minima, system minima, runway facilities, aircraft limitations, State requirements, or operator approvals. The illustrative DA/H is kept outside OAS, SOC, and missed-protection calculations.

Height loss determines the SOC relationship: SOC height = OCA/H − HL. Height loss is not the difference between DA/H and OCA/H. OCA/H may move the explicitly identified SOC-based continuation without moving the fixed final OAS, fixed Z surface, or selected missed gradient.

Only a designated SBAS TP with complete inputs and a course change of 1–90 degrees uses the audited bounding-circle construction. Other turning cases remain explicitly unsupported.
